Dibba Al Hisn is renowed for its quiet cham and if favorite location for those who love camping, barbecue, fishing and trekking. Interesting, Oman, Fujairah and Sharjah own the fishing villages of Dibba.
( Dibba Bayah & Dibba Muhallob ). In 632 AD, three armies were sent from Makkah by Khalifa Abu Baker to suupress a local revolt against Islam.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Two of the armies reached Dibba, a year after the death of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) and after a great battle in the plains, the Muslim armies reconquered Arabia. A vast cemetery with over 10.0000 headstones can still be seen there as a mute reminder of that historic battle.
