Cataloging Section

The library follows Anglo American Cataloging Rules II (2nd. edition),and follows Dewey Decimal Classification system,18th edition for Arabic books and 21st edition for Foreign books and other materials. Subjects broadly divided into ten categories and specific numbers are denoted to them which used in libraries worldwide.The library is automated and follows MARC format for cataloging.
