Al Dhaid

Al Dhaid is indeed the fruit-bowl of the UAE, and probably of the rest of the region as well.
In the past Al Dhaid was the favorite retreat from the scorching summer. you will be surprised by the stunning greeting of this quaint oasis town. This town had an abundant falaj ( underground water system ) and a coursing river.

Al Dhaid has over 4000 agricultural farms which grow delicious strawberries, lemons, mangoes, oranges, iceberg lettuce, celery, broccoli and of course a wide variety of dates. The popular Al Dhaid strawberries are exported to South-East Asia, South Africa and Europe.
